We therefore opted not for a physical studio, but instead built a fully digital 3D production environment. A virtual photo studio where camera, lighting, materials, composition, and product position could be controlled down to the millimeter. Not just once for a single shot, but as a scalable system for multiple products within the same premium brand world. This allowed us to provide Dore & Rose with e-commerce visuals that were consistent, flexible, and ready for use across the entire webshop.

The biggest technical challenge lay in the material: silk. Shiny textiles are notorious in 3D. Too much reflection and it looks cheap or plastic. Too little detail and it loses the softness of real fabric. That is why we did not simply run the scrunchies through an automatic cloth simulation, but built up the pleats and drape of the fabric by hand. This allowed us to achieve the right balance between soft, luxurious silk and the sleek design language that a premium e-commerce brand requires.

In addition to the scrunchie catalog, we also created product animations for the Dore & Rose sleep mask. While the scrunchies called for absolute uniformity, the sleep mask focused on softness, comfort, and a premium product experience. With subtle movement, soft lighting, and calm camera work, we brought the product to life in a way that suits the world of sleep, self-care, and high-end beauty.

Based on that 3D foundation, we delivered a complete e-commerce and packaging suite. Individual product shots in all sizes and colors, bundle images with various combinations, packaging shots in which the scrunchies are presented in, on, and next to their branded packaging, and animations that give the sleep mask more feel and context. Everything from the same art direction, with the same premium standard.

The result is an e-commerce product suite with the calm and precision of a high-end boutique. Every shadow, shine highlight, and camera position remains consistent across the collection, while the animations add extra experience to the product pages and launch content. No photoshoot chaos, no inconsistent product angles, no visual noise. Just a sleek, scalable 3D system that instantly gives the webshop more class, trust, and brand value.
